Feature Documentary In Development

Directed by James O’Brien Moran

Told through a series of observational vignettes, the film moves quietly from place to place, spending time with the people who give these bars their shape. Regulars, staff, drifters, and the unexpected characters who pass through.

The documentary sits with the small moments: the humour, the silences, the rituals, and the tensions that surface when people gather in a room built for conversation.

Balancing light and dark, it offers an immersive look at these far flung spaces. Not necessarily as symbols of Ireland, but as everyday social worlds in their own right.
